Mr. Heinrich J. Unkel, born 1891 in Stuttgart, Germany, came to Shanghai in 1911 and established his own trading company called H.J. Unkel in 1925 in Shanghai. Three years later a branch office was established in Guangzhou. Today H.J. Unkel is a multinational trading organization active in seven Asian countries.
